Ingredients for the dough:
-129g flour
-1 teaspoon of olive oil
-Salt, black pepper
-1 teaspoon of dry herbs
-1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
Ingredients for the filling
- 3 onions
-2 garlic cloves
-Anchovy fillet (minimum 6)
- Olive oil
- Basil leaves and thyme
- Salt and black pepper
Utensils:
A big pot
A spoon
A knife
A chopping board
A sauce pan
A pin tin
You can also make a focaccia instead of a classic pie.
Step-by-step recipe:
Preheat your oven at 190C.
In a mixing bowl, put all the ingredients for the pastry and make a dough by hand. The dough has to be soft and stretchy.
Add some more olive oil if needed. Flatten your dough and put in the cake tin.
Cook it until golden (20 minutes) Meanwhile, peel and chop your onions as thin as possible.
Sweat them in a frying pan on medium heat. Season.
When the pie is cooked, spread your cooked and caramelised onions on the top.
Add the anchovy and the olives.
